17 Jayhawks split up into two teams and made the trip to Columbia, Missouri Saturday to compete in the conference 7’s tournament. It was an abnormally cold spring day with strong wind gusts punishing anyone outside. The scores might not have always been in our favor but we are extremely proud of how our guys responded to adversity. On a day that saw an already shorthanded roster dwindle to injury, in very unfavorable weather conditions, our guys had every right to be discouraged yet much to our delight they were anything but. These men grew closer as teammates and brothers this weekend and had a great day despite results. This Saturday we will close out the season in Iowa against the Hawkeyes in what will be another great weekend of bonding through the rugby community. #ROCKCHALK #FAMILY
