Let’s give it up for B🔒! @mylifeonlock spent this past school year finishing up his law degree with @kulawschool. Though he originally planned on joining us this last season, Brandon was able to take advantage of some incredible opportunities that gave him a head start on his professional career. We still wanted to give this Texas native his much deserved flowers as he played a pivotal part on the ‘21-‘22 National Runnerup squad. Those who know him are familiar with his infectious personality and ability to be a great teammate and brother. He is just a great individual who flipped a switch when it was time to play some rugby. He had many great moments for us, but none greater than our National Semifinal match at home where he came off the bench in the 78th minute in a highly physical game and made a game-saving defensive play that sealed our ticket to the National Championship. Brandon is back home in Dallas, TX where he is preparing for the Texas Bar Exam. After that, he will start as an Assistant District Attorney in the Dallas County DA’s office. His long term goal is to end up in the Organized Crime or Gang Unit divisions before moving on to the US Attorney’s office doing federal prosecution. At KU Law, Brandon was awarded the “Class of 1949 Leadership Award” for “the most significant contribution to the overall experience of the students in Green Hall”. We have absolutely zero doubt that B Lock is well on his way to doing amazing things in this world. Thank you, Brandon!
