This one was for Buffy. Yesterday’s win over Missouri was dedicated to highly regarded alum Josh Hobart and his family. Josh recently lost his mother, Elizabeth “Buffy” Hobart, and the Jayhawks wore black arm bands to honor her. Our hearts are with Josh and his loved ones during this difficult time. Buffy spent her early career working in early childhood education and ended up finding her calling as a Parent Educator with Parents As Teachers working in the Kansas City, Missouri School District for the first few years and then in the Olathe Kansas School District for over 30 years. Donations may be made to the Growing Futures Early Education Center in Overland Park, KS.
